Statement

As an artist I enjoy creating work that reveals something unique and different for each viewer and which instills an emotional impact as they look deeper and contemplate what they are actually seeing. What that might be is dependent on the evaluation and eye of the beholder and their personal interpretations. Often there are multiple layers in my imagery that are merged and blended together to create something else entirely. As I piece together the various components of a composition my process of creation involves the abstraction of my own personal interpretations of compositional balance, line, form, space, color, texture, and lighting to create an appealing aesthetic expressed in both 2- and 3-D works of art.
